Get information about donations and donate to Baraka's projects online

Would you like to organise your own event, or participate in one of ours?

You can either visit our projects as an individual or as part of a group trip.

Donate
If you make a donation to Baraka we can guarantee that every penny or cent you donate will find its way to our projects. If you are a British taxpayer we can also claim gift aid from the UK Government and we use this to help towards our running costs. If you would prefer your gift aid to go towards the projects directly that’s fine by us – just let us know.

Help us fund raise
We run a few fundraising events throughout the year. They are generally fun and often energetic. We run an annual Rowathon in Surrey where teams of 6 compete on indoor rowing machines. We also host a Zumbathon, a funky 3 hour dance exercise to Latino music. And we also throw in the odd party/BBQ.
This years Rowathon is on Saturday December 3rd in Shepperton, Surrey.

If you have some ideas yourself, or if you are climbing a mountain, running a race, and entering a cycling event then please consider arranging sponsorship. We can help you set up an online giving page or sponsorship forms. We prefer to use Virgin Money Giving as opposed to Just Giving as their costs are lower, there is less admin and we can claim gift aid directly.

For information or help on either of the above please email Andy.

Volunteer at our projects
We are currently running two trips a year to both Morocco and Zambia with our first trip to Laos in the pipeline. The trips generally will spend a few days helping out on a variety of tasks at our projects before heading off for the holiday part of the trip to explore parts of these beautiful countries.

The trips are all led by Andy Mckee who has over 10 years experience as a Tour Leader. Andy’s trips are run in conjunction with Exodus Travels Ltd, the UK’s leading Adventure Travel Company with a strong ethos of Responsible Travel. To register interest in the trips contact Paula Mason at pmason@exodus.co.uk

It easy fairly easy for us to arrange for you to visit our projects as an individual traveller and we have had many volunteers do so. You will be able to stay with the locals and really get to know the people and the villages.

Please remember however that we are not a travel agency and you will travel at your own risk. We can help you with your plans and coordinate with our project staff, however you will have to book any flights, transfers, accommodation etc yourself.

For more information please email Andy.
