Where
Our work in Laos is conducted in Luang Prabang province in the north of the country where we focus on rural education for poorer more isolated communities.
Who
Our partner in Laos is a wonderful local organisation called Community Learning International (CLI) which is run by our friend Bob Anderson who has lived in Laos for 15 years. CLI are a small NGO with low overheads and a proven track record of getting things done in a very challenging environement.
Why Laos is a very poor country with basic infrastructure and the province we work in is particularly neglected. We are especially concerned with improving educational opportunities for rural girls. |
