Over the last few months, with a little more time on my hands, I've taken the opportunity to look back on everything Baraka has done since we started the charity back in 2007.
Having made a list of the all the projects we've completed over the years, I was overwhelmed by the scale of what our small charity has achieved and wanted to share this with you.
The infographic below shows some of our headline accomplishments in numbers
And there's more...
In addition to the above, we've also renovated over 50 houses in Morocco, built two new book boats in Laos, distributed over 10,000 malaria nets, run numerous medical trips and clinics, and donated mountains of clothing, sporting, educational and medical supplies.
We've sponsored over 250 children, funded more than 60 life-changing and life-saving operations, and coordinated several outreach programmes, including the current Coronavirus campaign, that have engaged tens of thousands of people.
All of this has only been made possible by the hard work of all our volunteers and the generosity of everyone who has donated money. A huge, huge thank you to everyone who has given time or money.
There is still lots to do and, with your help, we look forward to continuing the good work over the coming years.
It has been great fun to look back and it's made me even more excited about what we can achieve in the future.
