What to Expect on a baraka volunteer trip

The work may be of an unskilled manual nature, or it may be more skilled, depending on your area of expertise, such as teaching IT to our team or pupils, helping with our expanding agriculture programme, or teaching children to read. You will also have time to get to know our teams and our beneficiaries.

Arrive, recover, transfer to our projects, meet our teams, and learn about our projects.

Days 1-2

Volunteer work on a variety of projects at our different programmes, such as digging foundations, painting classrooms, planting trees, improving landscaping, and maybe teaching children.
