Sponsoring a young adult with Baraka is simple. We are always in need of donors as we have so many students ready and waiting to embark on a university degree or diploma.
Depending on how much you can donate, there are various options available to suit you as an individual. Our prime focus is to get our enthusiastic and able students to university, where a tertiary education can not only change the life of that student and their families, but can make a difference to the future of Zambia as a whole.

Over 500 children have been given the chance to have an education, who otherwise wouldn't have had one.

There are currently 47 students in university within the scheme, we also have some students in primary and secondary school.

40 graduates
40 students who started in the sponsorship programme as children have now graduated from university with a diploma or degree.

20+ Gap Year Students
All our students have to spend time volunteering at our Learning Centre before securing a place at university with us. As well as helping us out, this gives them valuable life and career skills plus unlimited access to all our Learning Centre’s education and sporting resources.

Baraka Alumni
